Sprague - A 35-year-old Lisbon man was seriously injured with a severe head injury early Tuesday morning on Bushnell Hill Road in a one-car accident.
Adam D. Greenwold, of 15 Kimball Road in Lisbon, was traveling west on Route 138 east of Route 97 when he lost control of his 2013 Hyundai Genesis and crashed into a guard rail, according to a police report.
An "incapacitating injury" to his head led to Baltic Ambulance transporting Greenwold to The William W. Backus Hospital. He was later transferred by Life Star helicopter to Hartford Hospital. A hospital spokesman said Greenwold was in critical condition Tuesday night.
The accident is under investigation.
