Norwich police make prostitution arrests

Norwich — Police announced five prostitution-related arrests made Monday and Tuesday during an undercover operation.

The women were using the online forums cityvibe.com and backpage.com for the illegal activity, police said in a news release.

Charged in the operation:

Bria N. Graham, 20, of Providence, was charged with prostitution and released on a $10,000 bond with a scheduled Norwich court date of Dec. 6.

Xueying Shou, 46, of Flushing, N.Y., was charged with prostitution and released on a $10,000 bond. She is scheduled for a Norwich court date of Dec. 13.

Ailing Zhu, 47, of 9 Pinecroft Road, Norwich, was charged with promoting prostitution and released on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Dec. 13 in Norwich Superior Court. Police said Zhu was arrested during a similar operation in May 2011.

Donna-Lee M. Miner, 23, of 1596 Hartford New London Turnpike, Oakdale, was charged with prostitution and released on $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Dec. 13 in Norwich Superior Court.

Stacy R. Vaz, 26, of Providence, was charged with prostitution and interfering with an officer. She was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Dec. 13 in Norwich Superior Court.
