Maya Peerzada of Waterford walks Jack, her pet Vietnamese potbellied pig, Thursday along the beach at Rocky Neck State Park in Niantic. Peerzada said she often takes Jack on hikes in the woods but Thursday she wanted to enjoy the sun so they opted for a walk on the beach.

East Lyme - Maya Peerzada of Waterford walked her pet Vietnamese pot belly pig named Jack for a walk along the beach at Rocky Neck State Park in Niantic Thursday.

Peerzada said she very often takes Jack on hikes in the woods but Thursday wanted to enjoy the sun so she opted to go to the beach for their walk.
