New London police investigate report of shots fired

New London — The police department is investigating a report of shots fired at Cumberland Farms Friday night.

The department received a 911 call from Cumberland Farms, 215 Montauk Ave., at 6:58 p.m. The caller said they heard three shots and saw a white vehicle drive westbound on Willetts Avenue, according to police.

There were no reported injuries as a result of this alleged incident, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Detective Division at (860) 447-1481. All calls will remain confidential.
