East Lyme - The Little League is beginning to plan fundraising to cover the cost of damages from a fire at a field press box late Saturday.

The fire destroyed the press box at the town’s athletic field that the Little League uses. The fire also damaged the center section of the backstop and field items including tarps, chairs and wind screens, said Dave Perry, president of the Little League.

The league has set up a fund, the ELLL Press Box Fire Fund, and donations can be sent to the ELLL, Post Office Box 675, Niantic, according to Perry. While the town has insurance, the ELLL would use the funds to cover the $5,000 deductible, he said.

Yes, it's highly suggestive and inappropriate at a school function.
No, teens will be teens. A ban would just encourage them more.
What's grinding? The Charleston is the last dance I learned.
