Sandy Hook vigils to be held in Stonington, East Lyme Sunday

Gov. Dannel Malloy has declared Sunday night at 6 p.m. as a time for a statewide vigil.
Stonington/
The Stonington Community Center will host a community candlelight vigil to remember the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on Sunday at 6 p.m. on Owens Field.
The vigil will include words of encouragement, prayer and song, according to a release by the COMO.
East Lyme/
There will be a candlelight vigil at 6 p.m. Sunday, December 23rd at the McCook Point Park Pavilion. There will be an opportunity to donate to the victims and survivors of the Newtown school shooting.
