Only one of the three members of The Can Kickers, New London's dazzling post-alt-country band, still lives in town. The other two aren't remotely close - as in, Arizona and Texas.

Rehearsals, as might be expected, are rare events.

Be thankful, then, that the season has brought the Kickers together again, highlighted by a show Friday at 33 in New London. To generate even more musical cheer, The Weird Beards and Resident Alien Project are also on the bill.
