Single copies to cost $1

Effective Monday the price of single copies of The Day sold in retail stores rose to $1 for the Monday through Saturday editions. At vendor boxes, this change will be phased in beginning today, with all boxes converted by Jan. 12.

The daily price sticker on each box will indicate when it has been converted.
