Salem, N.H. - Police here say two women are facing charges after they allegedly went on a spending spree with cash and credit cards they stole from a Salem man.
Police said one of the women met the man at the Foxwood Resorts Casino in Connecticut on Sunday and went home with him to Salem. They said she called a friend for a ride Monday morning.
The man reported the theft that morning. Within 15 minutes of receiving the report, police said they found the women’s vehicle and determined several ATM withdrawals and purchases were made totaling more than $1,800.
They identified the women as 29-year-old Heather Middleton of Sarasota, Fla., and 29-year-old Kiow Sharpe, of Lowell, Mass. Middleton and Sharpe were arrested on two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and other charges.
