A meeting, tour to invasive yellow groove bamboo sites

Preston – Terri Groff, field representative for the Institute of Invasive Bamboo Research will host a meeting about invasive yellow groove bamboo from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at 180 Middle Road.

At the meeting, information about recent case studies of invasive yellow groove bamboo escaping into natural areas and wetlands in New London County will be presented.

A van tour will be offered to infestation sites. Those planning to attend are asked to call (203) 734-6344.
