The Last Green Valley is asking residents of the 35-town region to join in the third annual Green Lights promotion, which runs through St. Patrick's Day.

The event aims to remind visitors and residents of the resources of the Last Green Valley, the region of the Quinebaug and Shetucket National Heritage Corridor in Connecticut and Massachusetts. To participate, residents and business owners are asked to display a green light on their house or commercial building. Suggestions include changing a porch light to green, hanging a strand of green LED lights around a window, displaying an electric candle with a green bulb. The Last Green Valley is also selling 60-bulb strands of LED lights $12.
