The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection will host its 17th annual two-day family festival, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Legacy of Environmental and Social Justice. This free festival takes place on Sunday, Jan. 20, from noon to 4:30 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, 170 Whitney Avenue, New Haven. Members of the New Haven community and performers from around the world will present two days of music, poetry, children's storytelling and dance. The festival will focus on environmental and social justice, civil rights, nonviolent advocacy, equality of resources and community enrichment.
