Honor 'Holy Innocents,' ban assault weapons

I wrote this Dec. 28, the day the Catholic Church celebrates the mass of the Holy Innocents. This mass commemorates the Jewish infants killed in the evil actions ordered by King Herod.

I believe America should have its own time, perhaps Dec. 14, to commemorate every year the times when American children, young adults and others were killed by the evil actions of other Americans.

I wrote "Black Men in Submarines in WWII" because they were treated horribly by America. I did not protest at that time, and for that I am responsible.

If you do not raise your voice to protest the evil actions of Americans using weapons of war to kill Americans, then the next time it happens, for that you will be responsible. No one except active military and police personnel should be allowed to possess military weapons.
