The Galleries in Motion (GIM) art lecture slide series continues in February with "The Seer: Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669)" on Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Guilford Free Library (GFL), 67 Park Street, and on Wednesday, Feb. 13 from 2 to 3 p.m. at GFL with "The Reflective Domestic: Johannes Vermeer (1632-1675)."
GIM is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Guilford Free Library and the Friends of the Scranton Library; this is its 31st year. Art Historian Joy Pepe, professor emeritus at Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts and professor at University of Hartford and Central Connecticut State University, delivers the lectures. GIM is free and open to the public and registration is not required. The snow date for any canceled program is Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 2 to 3 p.m. at GFL.
