Franklin residents can appeal assessments

Franklin -- Residents who want to appeal assessments on the 2012 Grand List must file applications by Feb. 20.

Appeal forms are available at the Office of the Assessor, 7 Meeting House Hill Road. The office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. Only those who complete applications by the deadline will be eligible for the hearing process by the Board of Assessment Appeals.
