Westerson Resigns from Finance Board

On Friday, Feb. 1, Town Clerk Sarah Becker reported that she had received a letter from Grant Westerson officially resigning from his position on the town's Board of Finance.

The resignation letter comes just a month after the town's Ethics Commission, in an advisory opinion it issued that Westerson had requested, ruled that serving on the Board of Finance while also receiving town funds as a stipend for operating the police boat was an action that was in conflict with the Town Charter.
