EVENTS

Tonight's Bon Jovi concert at Mohegan Sun has been rescheduled to Oct. 25, 2013, according to Mohegan Sun. Tickets for tonight's show will be honored on the newly scheduled date.

Despite putting up many of its musicians in a downtown hotel overnight to be ready, the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra canceled its Saturday evening performance at the Garde Arts Center in New London. A 10:30 a.m. posting on the ECSO Facebook site read: "Its official! Tonight's concert is CANCELED. Stay tuned for more information. Stay home, stay safe!"

Today's annual Quahog Bowl regional ocean sciences academic competition is postponed to March 2 at the University of Connecticut's Avery Point campus.

Lyme Academy of Fine Arts' "Aha! Inside The Artist's Studio" event scheduled for today has been postponed to Feb. 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. RSVP to Ann de Selding at (860) 434-3571 ext. 117 or at adeselding@lymeacademy.edu.

Today's art exhibit opening reception at the La Grua Center, "Celebrating the Chinese New Year," has been postponed. The opening is rescheduled for Feb. 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. The center has also postponed today's Music Matters Concert, "Cuartetango: Masters of Bandoneón," to a date to be determined.

Friday's onStage at Connecticut College performance of David Dorfman Dance's "Come, and Back Again," has been canceled. Ticket holders can get refunds through the college's box office once it reopens, or turn their tickets into tax-deductible donations.

CASINOS

Foxwoods Resort Casino has canceled bingo sessions for 9 p.m. today, as well as poker today, including a Mega Stack tournament.

Foxwoods' race book and keno are closed today.

The Atrium Lounge and Center Bar are closed today.

Domestic and International Line bus runs and charters were canceled Friday through noon today.

Foxwoods is waiving cancellation fees on hotel reservations booked for Thursday through today.

A Mardi Gras Parade scheduled today in connection with the reopening of the Winners retail location has been canceled. A gold and diamond buying event scheduled for today through Sunday has been postponed.

At Mohegan Sun, the Riverview Garage, Indian Summer Garage, Winter Garage and Thames Garage rooftops will be closed until the weather clears and the roofs are deemed safe for motor vehicle traffic.

The Earth Valet is closed until at least noon today.

Most buses for today are suspended. For information about specific bus runs and cancelations, call the carrier. Contact information can be found on the Mohegan Sun website.

Cross Sound Ferry bus service is canceled for today.

The Mohegan Sun Box Office will be closed through 4 p.m. today. To purchase tickets, contact Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or visit www.ticketmaster.com.

A limited number of rooms at Mohegan Sun Hotel are available for today. To book a room, call (888) 777-7922.

The Bingo After Dark event scheduled for today night has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 23. Tickets will be valid for the new date. Refunds are available at the box office.

All poker tournaments scheduled for today have been canceled.

The race book will be closed until at least this evening. The California Dreaming "Live Money Contest" scheduled for today has been canceled.

In the Cabaret Theatre, Friday's scheduled round of the "Funniest Comic in New England" contest has been rescheduled for today. The round originally scheduled for tonight has been pushed back to 6 and 8:15 p.m. Sunday.
