St. Patrick’s Party & Performance in New London

New London — The New London Firefighters Pipes & Drums will sponsor a St. Patrick’s Party & Performance 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Crocker House Ballroom.

There will be live Irish music by Marc Bernier, Irish step dancers from Spirited Soles Irish Dance Academy and pipe band performances. Beer, wine and food will be available. Tickets are available in advance for $5; and will be $10 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at Fire Headquarters, 289 Bank St.; from any band member; and at Neff Productions, 2 State St. For information call (860) 443-3786.

All proceeds will benefit the firefighters band, which was established in 2001 to foster the tradition of pipes and drums during ceremonies and pageantry. It is made up of New London career firefighters and family members. The band is devoted to serving New London and other southeastern Connecticut fire departments at “Line of Duty Death” firefighter funerals, memorial services, ceremonies, parades and functions.
