91-year-old saved from slip in snow

With three feet of snow underfoot, I decided to walk in someone's footsteps to deposit by trash in the dumpster. Never realizing there was ice under the snow, I lost my balance and could not pull myself up.

A good Samaritan driving by saw my predicament and rescued me. (I am 91 plus.) I never got his name but wanted to express my appreciation for his help by writing to The Day. Fortunately, I did not have to wait for the Spring thaw to do so.
