Welcoming March at the beach in New London

Marvin Key of Norwich and his grandson, Cameron Jones-Hanke, 1, of Waterford stop for a moment Friday while walking at Ocean Beach Park in New London as a Cross Sound Ferry passes by. Key said that he and his wife, Darlene Key, not shown, and their grandchildren, Cameron and Marissa Jones-Hanke, 2, not shown, had lunch in town and, in recognition that February has ended and spring is on its way, they decided to go to the beach.
