Citizens have had two weeks to admire and peruse "The Salon Show," a kaleidoscopic exhibition of works that opened March 1 in Ivoryton's Six Summit Gallery. Now it's time to meet the artists. The Grand Reception takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday in the gallery at 6 Summit Street. More than 20 artists are represented along with 125 works - including paintings, sculpture and photography. Included are 12 photographs by noted "night train" photographer William Gill (whose "River Street Crossing Deep River" is shown here). Runs through April 15. Hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wed., 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Thurs., 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Fri., and noon-4 p.m. Sat. and Sun.; (860) 581-8332, sixsummitgallery.com.
