We need leaders who lead us not stick us and bleed us!

It is blatantly clear that our leaders (both parties and the president in particular) are not rushing to correct problems that jeopardize our safety, values and future, rather they appear to be content to "fiddle as Rome burns."

Specifically we need to:

Balance the budget and reduce the national debt;

Control our borders as opposed to a "welcome mat" to the hoards of illegal immigrants and terrorist;

Establish a national energy policy that maximizes our domestic capabilities (including nuclear power and coal), promotes conservation and presses for new technologies that are economically feasible;

Insist that our elected officials conduct their activities within the framework of the Constitution and start doing what's right for the country and not just their self-interest;

Insist that the media objectively reports the news rather than shaping it to satisfy their own agenda;

Dismantle the politically correct nonsense that has limited action and caused divisiveness;

Recognize that our greatest threat is the "nation of sheep" that we have become. Let's get our act together before it's too late - or we are truly headed to an "America the Land that Was?"
