On March 13, 2013, the Noank Zoning Commission approved unanimously to make changes in the Noank Zoning Ordinance as it applies to properties in the Village area.
Text additions were added to Sections 3.4.2 and 3.4.3 relating to Side and Rear Yard setback requirements.
In addition, there were text changes for Section 3.5 relating to computation of Allowable Lot Coverage.
Essentially, the above changes related to limitations on house size in relation to lot coverage.
In addition, there had been a moratorium since 9/22/12 on any applications requiring Architectural Design Review as relating to Section 2.26 of the Noank Ordinance, other than minor applications under Section 220.127.116.11 and this moratorium was also extended for 3 more months by the Commission.
The changes become effective as of Monday, March 18, 2013.
