UConn junior Tyler Olander was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with trespassing during spring break in Panama City Beach, Fla.
He was taken to Bay County jail.
According to a Bay County spokesperson, Olander was arrested at about 3 a.m. after being told several times to leave a hotel property near the beach but refused to follow orders.
An update on Friday: Olander was released from jail on Thursday afternoon. He is scheduled to appear in Bay County Court on Wednesday, according to the Hartford Courant.
He is the second UConn basketball player to be arrested in the last few months.
Reserve center Enosch Wolf was suspended indefinitely after being arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, third degree burglary, and first-degree criminal trespass following an on-campus domestic dispute on Feb. 11.
Wolf appeared in Rockville Superior Court on Wednesday and his case was continued until April 24.
