Capitalism is not working well in U.S.

Responding to The Day's March 7 editorial, "After Chavez." It stated that "gross economic equalities in Venezuela needed addressing." It acknowledges that Chavez was successful and you named his effort a socialist revolution. In a capitalist society like ours that is a vile criticism of Chavez. Yet the editorial conceded that in Venezuela it was working for the common people. Your lament was that success for the ordinary folks was detrimental to corporations "whose investments are necessary to make a modern economy work."

Sounds to me like our economy must be struggling because the corporations in America are not investing in our economy. What are they doing with all their billions? Is this the American way of Democracy (one for all, all for one?) or is it pure and clean capitalism (anything goes)?

Remember, when you get rich you get rowdy.
