"Come, and Back Again" is - you guessed it - back again. David Dorfman Dance was originally scheduled to perform this piece on Feb. 8. Which, you might recall, is the day that everyone was trying to dig out from The Big Ol' Blizzard of 2013.
Tickets for that performance are still being honored, but if you didn't buy tickets back then, you're getting a second chance.
David Dorfman, who is professor of dance and chair of the dance department at Conn, says, "Audiences will be treated to an evening-length elegiac exploration of the virtuosity of daily living, its mess, mortality and hope."
Five dancers and five musicians perform this piece informed by the 1990s underground Atlanta band Smoke and their charged poetry. Working with the company is Caledonia "Swoon" Curry, a street/installation artist who is a New London native.
