Daniel Hand High School has organized its annual College and Post-Secondary Education Fair and invites students and parents from area schools and towns to attend.
A diverse group of colleges and universities will assemble at Daniel Hand High School on Thursday, April 25th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the dining/assembly hall and gym. “We created the fair because it will allow parents and students to visit a host of schools in one evening without leaving town,” said Jean Baker, director of guidance.
Among the 125 schools that will be attending are: Colgate University, Endicott College, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Marist College, New York Institute of Technology, Penn State University, Providence College, Union College, UMass-Amherst, University of Notre Dame, Villanova University, Western New England University, and Yale University, …just to mention a few. In addition, we have invited many other post-secondary institutions and representatives from a variety of career areas, such as Culinary Institute of America; something for everyone!
To see the entire list of schools visit www.danielhand.org. There is no cost to attend. Students will receive handouts and brochures and essential information from the schools’ representatives. Once again, parents and students from neighboring towns are encouraged to attend.
