A novel event: Edible Books Festival
When you hear about the Edible Books Festival, it's easy to start riffing on potential titles: "The Grapes of Wrath." "Chicken Soup for the Soul." "Green Eggs and Ham."
But here's the real deal: This annual event, held by the three Friends of Libraries in Groton, boasts culinary items inspired by books. They might look like a novel or take a cue from a tome's title or play off a lead character.
Visitors guess the title and then, later on, get to sample the items.
This seventh annual event is held by the three Friends of Libraries in Groton.
