North Stonington — A local man turned himself in Thursday on a warrant that alleges he stabbed two people in January at a local residence.
Sean McBride, 24, of 211 Reutemann Road was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and breach of peace.
Police said that at about 4:30 a.m. on Jan. 4, they responded to 59 Yawbux Valley Road for a report that two people had been stabbed. The state police Eastern District Major Crime Squad took over the investigation and said they uncovered information that McBride was involved in the stabbing.
McBride turned himself in Thursday at Troop E in Montville, where he posted a $100,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned April 18 in New London Superior Court.
