Panucci named head football coach at Fitch

Groton — Jordan Panucci, a former Fitch High School football captain and member of former coach Mike Emery's staff, has been named the program's new head coach.

Panucci, who graduated from Fitch in 2005, is a history teacher at Fitch and has been on the coaching staff for the last five seasons.

He has an undergraduate degree in history/anthropology from UConn and recently earned his Master's Degree in education from the University of New Haven.

He succeeds Mike Emery, who resigned after last season when he led the Falcons to the playoffs.
