Rabid cat found in Groton

Groton - A cat from the area of Meech Avenue was tested and found to be positive for rabies on Saturday, Ledge Light Health District announced.

The public is reminded to refrain from feeding or approaching any wild or stray animals. For information, contact Ledge Light at (860) 448-4882.
