State police seek missing ECSU student

State police are searching for a missing 20-year-old student at Eastern Connecticut State University.

Alyssiah Marie Wiley was last heard from on Saturday, and state police said they were contacted Wednesday by Eastern Connecticut University Police regarding her disappearance. University Police had started a search after being informed Wiley could not be located by friends or family.

State Police Major Crime and Missing Person detectives have responded to Eastern to work the investigation with help from state police dog teams. Family and friends were also interviewed about Wiley's last known whereabouts.

Wiley is described as a black woman who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

State police are asking anyone who may have any information on Wiley's whereabouts to contact state police at Troop K in Colchester at (860) 537-7500.
