Old Lyme police warn of scam

Old Lyme - The Old Lyme Police Department is warning residents of a scam in which unknown individuals are going door-to-door claiming to be from the power company.

The individuals are threatening to cut off power if not paid, according to police.

Residents who are visited by one of these individuals are advised to contact Old Lyme police at (860) 434-1986 immediately.
