Branford Festival Starts Tomorrow

Some morning rain today didn’t deter the work that needs to be done to set up the Town Hall main stage and many other components of the 2013 Branford Festival.

The three-day Branford Festival takes over the town green beginning Friday, June 14 with an Opening Celebration at 5 p.m.

Friday's main stage entertainment includes local popular music cover-band par excellence "The Syndicate" on the main stage (7 p.m. – 8 p.m.) followed by renowned Chicago cover-band "The Chicago Experience" (8:45 p.m. – 11 p.m.)

Saturday's main stage music kicks off with Branford-based Travis Moody Band (5 p.m.) followed by female-fronted Bad Kittie (6 p.m. – 7 p.m.) and Memphis Soul Spectacular (7:30 p.m.) just ahead of headliner cover-band extraordinare"Scarab – the Journey Experience" at 9 p.m.

The 2013 Branford Festival hours are: Friday June 14, 5 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.; Sat. June 15, 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Sun. June, 16 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is free.
