Charter Oak Federal Credit Union opened a new full-service branch at 7 Providence Pike in Putnam Monday.
The Route 44 location, previously a Quiet Corner Community Credit Union, is part of Charter Oak's expansion into Windham County.
Brian A. Orenstein, chief executive, said the credit union's 13th branch "serves as a great launch-pad to grow our banking business throughout the Quiet Corner."
Audrey Lefevre, former Quiet Corner Community Credit Union official, is the branch supervisor in Putnam, and Sonya Armstrong iss branch manager.
