Lisbon — State police said they discovered 11 marijuana plants, other drugs and manufacturing materials when they went to arrest a man on a warrant charging him for previously cultivating marijuana and running a drug factory.

Troopers from the Lisbon, Sprague and Jewett City resident troopers office went to serve a warrant for Christopher Hasbrouck, 38, at 68 Bushnell Road. Troopers said they then observed evidence that Hasbrouck was again growing marijuana. The Statewide Narcotics Task Force was called and it obtained a search warrant and found the plants, a pound of packaged marijuana, several grams of hashish, various narcotic pills, drug paraphernalia and materials used to grow and package marijuana. The investigation is continuing and more charges are pending.
