New London – A juvenile was charged with two robberies at gunpoint in the city in the early morning on Saturday. Two adults were also charged in one of the robberies.

At 12:40 a.m., the juvenile followed a moped near Ashcraft Road in a vehicle with other people. The vehicle pulled over the two people on the moped and the juvenile stole the moped at gunpoint, police said.

The juvenile and two 18-year-olds, Hassan Foster-Carney of 320 Central Ave., Norwich, and Dwayne Miller of 26 Jefferson Ave., New London, stole another moped a few hours later in a Wendy’s parking lot on Colman Street, police said.

All three were charged wither first-degree robbery and third-degree larceny. There were no injuries during the robberies.

The two adults are being held on $50,000 bonds and the juvenile was transferred to a juvenile detention facility in Hartford.
