Getting ready for the festival in New London

Christopher Jones of Quaker Hill, co-owner of the Monte Cristo Bookshop on Green Street in New London, prepares his bookstore Tuesday for the 2013 Connecticut Schooner Festival, set for Wednesday through Sunday. Jones and his wife, Gina, also a  co-owner, will be conducting the "Authors' Tent" on Saturday at the festival, to promote local authors.
