Hooked thresher shark draws crowd at New London marina

Matt Adler of Groton, Matt Krajewski of South Windsor and Jeff Johnson of A.W. Marina in New London, stepped back after lifting a thresher shark that Krajewski and Adler caught onto the hanging scale Thursday. Krajewski and Adler said it took them approximately 30 minutes to land the shark, 160 pounds dressed, that they caught 50 miles offshore from Long Island.
