Norwich - The William W. Backus Hospital will host “Breathe Well, Live Well,” an asthma education series from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Nov. 4 and 11 at the Backus Outpatient Care Center at 111 Salem Turnpike.
The classes will be taught by a certified respiratory therapist and certified asthma educator. The classes will follow a curriculum developed by the American Lung Association, “Breathe Well, Live Well,” that teaches participants self-management skills to keep their asthma under control, have fewer symptoms and gain a better quality of life.
There is a $25 fee for the program, which will be fully refunded if both sessions are attended.
