Pedestrian struck and killed by train in Killingly

Killingly - A 63-year-old man died Wednesday after he was struck by a Providence & Worcester train, state police said.

Larry Hart was pronounced dead at the scene of the 7:28 p.m. accident, which occurred near the intersection of Route 101 in the Dayville section of Killingly.

The incident remains under investigation and police urge witnesses to contact state police at Troop D in Danielson (860) 779-4900.
