New London police make drug arrest at Mitchell College dorm

New London — A 23-year-old is facing multiple marijuana-related charges, including operating a drug factory, following his arrest early Monday at a dormitory at Mitchell College.

Arrest records show Fred Cuffy of New Haven was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school, operating a drug factory and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrest took place at Room 409 of Simpson Hall, at 48 DeBiasi Drive, according to the arrest information provided by police. No further details were available.
