    Mashantuckets celebrate Native American Heritage Month

    Members of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe Little Fox Dancers from the tribe's child development center danced for a gathering in Rainmaker Square at Foxwoods Resort Casino Friday to mark the first day of Connecticut Native American Heritage Month.

    State Representative Ernest Hewitt addressed the gathering as one of the sponsors of the bill that led to the state recognition.
