The Lyme-Old Lyme school district will hold its last community forum next week to collect data for the school system’s long-range plan.
The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the high school’s library media center.
Led by a steering committee, the district began strategic planning this summer. Student surveyors have been collecting data from residents at community events. The surveyors have carried name badges and an official letter from the superintendent. The first community forum was held last month.
There is also an electronic survey available at the following link: http://www.region18.org/page.cfm?p=1923.
After the district completes data collection at the end of this month, the steering committee will discuss the results with LEARN, a regional educational agency, in early December.
