Michael Cook, 26, of 21 Upper Walnut Hill Road, was charged Saturday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Groton City

Kerri Philopena, 29, of 15 Orchard St., New London, was charged Saturday with driving with a suspended license and speeding.

Montville

John Morris Putnam, 26, of Wallkill, N.Y., was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and speeding.

New London

Matthew Barfield, 26, of 79 Garfield Ave., was charged Sunday with first-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Michael Camacho, 35, of 217 Colman St., was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to have head lamps illuminated.

Diomanes Carabello, 60, of 9 Clark Place, Quaker Hill, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to carry insurance and failure to drive right.

Stonington

Kayleigh M. Cabral, 25, of 2 Stillman Ave., Pawcatuck, was charged Thursday with breach of peace.

Caleb S. Converse, 24, of 5 Velvet Lane, Apt. 5, Mystic, was charged Wednesday with driving with a suspended license or registration, failure to have minimum insurance and failure to display plates.

Waterford

Kimberli Guddo, 25, of 25-27 Ocean Ave., Niantic, was charged Saturday with driving with a suspended license and improper passing.

Justin Evon, 29, of Bristol, was charged Friday with fifth-degree larceny.

My Thanksgiving has been completely taken over by the ever-earlier Black Friday sales. My big meal will be looking more like a fast food burger in line outside of Best Buy than the traditional sit-down meals from days of ole.
