Foxwoods Resort Casino experienced a 2.1 percent increase in slot-machine revenue last month, ending a string of 22 straight months of year-over-year declines.
The casino posted a November slots “win” of $43.9 million, up from $43 million in November 2012. Win is the amount the casino keeps after paying out prizes.
Ironically, Foxwoods’ slots November “handle,” the total amount players pumped into slot machines, was down 2.1 percent over the same month the previous year.
Mohegan Sun’s slots win totaled $49.3 million last month, down 1.4 percent over November 2012.
Foxwoods contributed $11 million of its November win to the state, while Mohegan Sun paid $12.6 million.
