Hector Roa, 24, of 19 Jay St. was charged Tuesday with second-degree breach of peace.

Ramona J. Martell, 29, of no certain address was charged Monday with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault.

Michael Dengler, age not available, of Boston, Mass., was charged Monday at Mohegan Sun with breach of peace.

State police - Montville

Lucas Beach, 21, of Griswold was charged Tuesday in Griswold with second-degree criminal trespass, evading responsibility, failure to drive right, interfering with an officer, third-degree larceny and driving a car without a license.

Phillip Lombardo, 21, of 60 Jerome Road, Uncasville, was charged Monday in Montville with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Allen Choate, 45, of 371 Fitch Hill Road was charged Sunday in Preston with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive right.

Steven Smith, 51, of 23 Chase Oak Road, Groton, was charged Sunday in Griswold with violation of probation.

Michelle Wanstall, 23, of 486 Pendleton Hill Road, North Stonington, was charged Sunday in North Stonington with evading responsibility, failure to obey a traffic control signal, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.

Hannah Knowles, 24, of 2951 Gold Star Highway, Mystic, was charged last Wednesday in Montville with second-degree criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and second-degree reckless endangerment.

There is less than a week to go until the registration deadline for assault-style weapons and large capacity magazines. What are your opinions on the mandatory registration and the ban on certain types of weapons?
I am not a gun owner and I will sleep better knowing that we are doing more to keep track of gun ownership in our state.

As a gun owner, I support these registrations and bans. Irresponsible gun owners give a bad name to the rest of us who exercise our Second Amendment rights responsibly. Guns are only as safe as the people who own them.
