Despite its proximity to America, Cuba is essentially a secret, exotic place for most of us - and what we do know about it only serves to whet our cultural and artistic appetites. Fortunately, a new art exhibit, "Feeling Cuba," opens with a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in New London's Provenance Center. The show features a variety of indigenous artists working in such disciplines as painting, cut-drawings, photography and collage, and should provide a fine slice-of-life portrait of our southeastern neighbor. Through February 16. Provenance Center, 151-191 State St., New London. Hours 1-5:30 p.m. Wed.-Fri.; (860) 405-5887, provenancecenter.com.
