Mohegan Sun and Wynn Resorts, the competitors for the Greater Boston casino license, will pitch their billion-dollar projects to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission Wednesday afternoon.

MGM Resorts International, the sole applicant for a western Massachusetts license, will present its Springfield plan Thursday morning.

The commission, which had intended to hear from all three gaming operators Tuesday, juggled its schedule because of the weather. The new schedule calls for Mohegan Sun, which is proposing a resort casino in the city of Revere, to give a 90-minute presentation Wednesday, starting at 1 p.m., with Wynn Resorts airing its Everett proposal at 3:30.

The commission will meet in Room 151 A&B of the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, 415 Summer St. The presentations will be streamed live on the commission's website, massgaming.com.

"We have spent a tremendous amount of time preparing," Mitchell Etess, chief executive officer of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, said Tuesday. "Our intent in our presentation will be to bring our application to life — to convey to the commission all the great reasons why Mohegan Sun Massachusetts is the clear best choice."

Mohegan Sun's Revere project must also win the support of Revere voters in a Feb. 25 referendum if it is to move forward.

The commission expects to award the two casino licenses by the end of May, though it could elect to award only one, or none.

Mohegan Sun has more than Revere on its plate.

Next week, Etess and other members of the Mohegan Sun team will appear before the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, which is considering the "suitability" of applicants for a Philadelphia casino license. Mohegan Sun is an equity partner in a group proposing a $500 million project that would be built in the heart of the city.

The MARKET8 project, as it is known, is one of five vying for the Philadelphia license.
