New London — Thames Valley Sustainable Connections, in partnership with Next Step Living, is launching a new initiative to help homeowners reduce their utility bills and reduce carbon footprints.
Residents from New London and surrounding communities can attend the program’s kick-off event at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 5) at 102 Golden St.
The program, called ReNew London County, will provide information about environmentally friendly home efficiency measures and will outline energy-saving programs.
Thames Valley Sustainable Connections is a nonprofit social enterprise, with a mission of building resilient and sustainable communities in southeast Connecticut. It is a nonpartisan organization that aligns the cities and towns in the Thames Valley watershed area with sustainable economies.
Next Step Living is a home energy efficiency and renewable energy company that works on the utilities’ Home Energy Solutions program to save residents money on their utility bills every month while creating sustainable green jobs, locally.
